Pool cages in Sarasota. Repair, rescreen, or replace.
We are based on Sarasota Center Boulevard, ten minutes from most of the county. Whether it is one torn panel in Palmer Ranch or a whole cage coming down on Siesta Key, the same crew that quotes it is the crew that builds it.
Sarasota, specifically
A cage on the water and a cage two miles inland do not age the same way. We quote them differently.
On the keys and along the bay — Siesta, Lido, Bird Key, anything with salt air moving over it — fasteners and anchors go first, and they go early. A cage fifteen years old on Siesta Key can need structural work while the same cage in Fruitville needs nothing but screen.
Inland, in Palmer Ranch, Bee Ridge and Fruitville, the frame usually outlives the screen by a wide margin. Those are the jobs where we talk you out of replacement and into a rescreen, or a refinish, at a fraction of the cost.
The deed-restricted communities across the county also come with architectural review, and we submit that package for you. Getting a color and profile approved before anything is fabricated is what keeps a project on schedule here.
What we do here
Four jobs, and the honest order to consider them
Cheapest first. Most Sarasota homeowners who call about replacement end up needing one of the first two.
Panel repair
One or two torn bays with an obvious cause. If the rest of the screen is tight, this is a single visit and you are done.
Full rescreen
When the mesh tears at the spline on its own or sags to the touch. Phifer fiberglass, no-see-um, pet-resistant or Perfect Screen polyester.
Painting & restoration
Sound frame, tired finish. Pressure wash, rust treatment, hardware, refinish — white back to white, or white changed to bronze.
Replacement
When corrosion has gone through the anchors or a storm took it. Engineered, permitted through Sarasota County, and inspected.

How much does pool cage replacement cost in Sarasota?
Every project is quoted individually. The footprint, the roof style, the height, the screen and the condition of the deck the cage anchors into all move the number — and on the keys, the state of the anchors moves it a lot. We measure on site rather than quoting over the phone.
Before you price replacement, ask us whether you need it. Most Sarasota homeowners who call about a new cage end up with a rescreen or a refinish instead.
Does Sarasota County require a permit for a pool cage?
Yes, for a new enclosure or a structural replacement. It needs a building permit and engineered drawings showing the cage meets the current wind-load requirement, and it gets inspected. Straight rescreening of a sound structure does not.
We pull permits under our own license, CRC1334065, and meet the inspector. Be careful with anyone offering to skip it — unpermitted structural work becomes a title problem when you sell.
Why do cages on Siesta Key fail faster?
Salt air. It attacks the fasteners and the anchors where the cage meets the deck long before it touches the screen. A cage on the keys can need structural work at fifteen years while the same cage inland needs nothing but new mesh.
It is also why refinishing a coastal cage without treating the anchors first is money wasted — the paint outlives the connection holding the cage down.
Do you handle HOA approval in Sarasota?
Yes, and it is a large part of what we do here. Most of the county is deed-restricted. We prepare and submit the architectural review package, and getting color and profile approved before fabrication is what keeps the schedule.
How long does the work take?
A panel repair is usually one visit. Where a permit is involved, most projects finish within 20 business days of the permit being issued. The county issues on its own schedule, which is the part none of us controls.
Where are you based?
1159 Sarasota Center Blvd, Sarasota, FL 34240 — near Fruitville and I-75. Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. We are a Sarasota company, not a franchise dispatching from another county.
